History

1963: The first Prénatal stores open in Milan and Barcelona.

1974: 62 stores in Italy and a significant presence in Europe. The famous Incontri Corredino (discussion groups for expectant mothers) are established.

1984: The Guide to Childbirth comes out, which will reach two million copies and be translated into five languages.

1985: The French group, La Redoute, acquires the majority of Prénatal SpA.

1988: The first store in Portugal opens in Lisbon.

1990: The first store in Greece opens at Pireaus

1993: The PrénatalCard is born.

1995: Prénatal arrives in Latin America with the opening of the first store in Mexico.

1996: The ARTSANA SpA group acquires the entire Prénatal SpA block of shares.

1998: The "Prénatal handbooks" take the place of the Guide to Childbirth.

1999: The first store in Argentina is opened. Prénatal creates a new image for its stores

2001: The first store in France is opened

2003: The first store in Cyprus is opened

2006: Prénatal enters the Russian market
          Prénatal Holland becomes part of Prénatal SpA
